Claims Litigation
In addition to Registered Nurses providing case management services, Sargent & Associates can also offer the expertise of Claims Litigation Specialists for workers’ compensation claims that are in the dispute resolution process before the Department of Industrial Accidents (DIA). The claims professionals work closely with the claims adjuster and defense counsels to plan a coordinated strategy to maximize the best claim resolution. The Claims Litigation Specialists will act on behalf of the employers and insurers overseeing the litigation process. This will ensure that the employer's interest will be heard and addressed to facilitate the most cost effective resolution of the claim. The claims specialists can also work with employers and insurers to monitor old claims that are affecting workers’ compensation premiums and experience mod.Upon client authorization the Claims Litigation Specialist will attend conciliations, conferences and hearings at the DIA.
