Work Experience:
Ms. Shean-Craig retired from the U.S. Navy/Naval Reserve in 2002 with 24 years of duty. She did several tours as Commanding Officer of Medical reserve units. She also served as Regional Nurse Coordinator for naval reservists in six New England states on the Readiness Command Staff in Newport , RI , overseeing credentialing and proficiency training.
She is very familiar with the military’s zero tolerance drug testing policy, annual sexual harassment training, CPR/first aid instruction, security and workplace violence, Medicare compliance and total quality management programs.
Ms. Shean-Craig held the position of Clinic Director at both Portsmouth Naval Ambulatory Care and Occupational Health Clinic for Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and Westover Air Reserve Base clinic where the focus is on readiness, wellness, physical examinations, and immunizations.
She has clinical experience in general medicine and cardio thoracic surgery. She also has Utilization Review experience at Corvel, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Atlantic Charter Insurance Co. and Sargent and Associates.
